  • Make sure EyeVac is plugged into a proper power source and Power is on.
  • Make sure Pre-Motor filter is properly installed in canister. The round filter inside the canister should be flush with the canister lid and fully locked into place.
  • Remove and replace canister.
  • Make sure inlet and sensor area are clear of debris.

  • Professional and Pet models are essentially the same unit. They have the same motor size (1400 Watt), canister size, dimensions (13.5 x 9.5 x 20.5 in.), and filters.
  • EyeVac Home is a slightly smaller unit (12 x 7 x 18 in.). The motor is only 1000 Watt. The shape is also different, with a rounded top and thinner design.
  • EyeVac+ is a high capacity stainless steel trash bin with an integrated vacuum. It is the largest unit in the EyeVac lineup (15.5 x 13 x 30 in.) with a trash bin capacity of 13 gallons and a vacuum canister capacity of 0.52 gallons. The motor is 1000 Watt.
  • EyeVac Air is an air purifier with an integrated vacuum on the bottom. It is larger than the Pro and Pet models (14.4 x 8.8 x 19.5 in.). The motor is 1000 watt and the air purifier uses HEPA H13 and activated carbon filters to remove particles from your air.

The voltage on all units is 120v (US plug). We do not suggest using converters as the motor is not built to withstand them, and will burn out quickly.

  • Make sure there is no debris blocking the infrared eyes.
  • Clean the covers of the infrared eyes with a wet q-tip.
  • Turn EyeVac off and back on.

  • Check to ensure there is no debris stuck in the inlet.
  • Clear the canister and clean the pre-motor filter.

  • This is a power interruption to protect your motor from damage when EyeVac has run continuously for 30+ seconds.
  • Ensure the sensor/inlet area is clear of debris, then turn the power off and back on.

Dump the debris from the canister.

  • The EyeVac filters should be cleaned every 3-4 canister dumps.
  • You can clean them with warm water and soap.
  • With proper care, the filters will last for the life of your EyeVac.

  • Remove the canister, place over your trash receptacle, then remove the canister lid and dump the contents.
  • For optimal performance, remove and clean the pre-motor filter after heavy dust or fine particle use or at least every 4 times you clear the canister.

  • For any electronic interruptions, turning the EyeVac off and then back on should resolve the problem.
  • For optimal performance, dump your canister when the Canister Full Indicator light is on and keep your filters clean.

JPaulJones, L.P. offers a 1-year full warranty on all EyeVac models. We do not require a warranty card to be filled out. However, we do require proof of purchase and a clear picture of the label (showing all information and numbers) on the back of your unit.

  • Upon acceptance of warranty, we require a picture of your name and date hand written directly on the UL Label. This photo must show the cord cut completely off the unit (make sure to turn off and unplug the unit before cutting the cord). This is a safety protocol to ensure defective units are not used once marked defective. DO NOT cut the cord on your unit until told to do so by a customer service representative.

  • Please note: EyeVac Home and EyeVac Air are only under warranty if used in a HOME setting. They are not certified for commercial use. Only EyeVac Pro and EyeVac Pet are certified and warrantied for commercial use.

  • Please note: if you purchase your EyeVac through an unauthorized dealer, distributor, seller or individual, we are unable to provide a warranty replacement.

  • Please note: taking apart the EyeVac unit voids the warranty.

However, we do require proof of purchase and a clear picture of the label (showing all information and numbers) on the back of your unit. Please fill out a service request on our Connect page to make a warranty claim. You can find full warranty details in the product manuals.
